ScaphGraph was my university graduation thesis, consisting of academic research, a desktop application and corrresponding documentation.
Minimal invasive osteosynthesis is a special surgery technique that is used for the treatment of fractures of the scaphoid bone. During the procedure, a screw is applied for fixation without exposing the bone. The calculation of the optimal screw channel proves to be extremely problematic due to the complex shape of the scaphoid bone. In particular, it is necessary to avoid that the screw channel runs partially outside of the bone.
ScaphGraph is a software system for preoperative planning and verification of the screw channel.
